Additions and Alterations
When extending or renovating your existing home, it is both a blessing and a challenge that you have to work around what already exists. On the plus side, you can keep the areas you do like and improve the things that don’t work for you. The main disadvantage of working around your existing floor plan is the difficulty in matching existing materials with new materials as you won’t always achieve the exact same finish.

Woodline Homes is a member of New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB), a membership organisation for qualified and experienced builders in New Zealand. Working with an approved NZCB member means you are entitled to the Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee.
What does the Halo guarantee cover?
A Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee (Halo Guarantee) protects you after the building process, and for the next 10 years. While the vast majority of building projects will run smoothly, sometimes things do go wrong. The Halo Guarantee provides protection when these issues arise.
Regardless of what happens in the future, your Halo Guarantee will be there to protect your housing investment for the next full 10 years following completion.
The Halo Guarantee has been developed to provide confidence and protection for homeowners. If something goes wrong after the completion of your build, provided the terms and conditions are met, your Halo Guarantee will cover it. We’ll step in to help you fix any agreed problems or pay you a cash settlement to enable you to do so.
How to qualify for the Halo guarantee?
Whether you are building a new home with Woodline Homes, or hiring us to complete home renovations, you can advise us for the guarantee. You will be given full details of the policy coverage, exclusions and additional benefits when you begin working with us.
For the Halo policy to be confirmed documentation must be completed with your builder and submitted to the insurer then you will be given receipt of the Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee Policy Schedule. This extensive guarantee insures your biggest asset, not only during the build but in the future, so all you need to focus on is counting down the days until you are in your new home.
Your Halo Guarantee is fully transferable if you decide to sell, and typically costs less than 0.42% of the total build cost.
